HORIZON WALLET — PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: October 13, 2025
Note: This policy applies to the Horizon Wallet browser extension and not to the legacy web wallet.
Horizon Wallet, a product of Unspendable Labs Inc., a Delaware Corporation ("we", "our", "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the service.
1. Data We Collect
We collect data solely for analytics and debugging purposes. No Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is collected.
Analytics Data:
Collected to monitor usage patterns and performance:
Web Vitals
- Metrics such as page load time, input delay, and visual stability. A random UUID is assigned to sessions to group metrics, and it resets periodically.
Broadcasted Transactions
- Logs of transaction occurrences and their types (e.g., broadcast_tx_issue, broadcast_tx_send). Each event is assigned a unique, random UUID that is not linked to wallet UUIDs, session IDs, or other events.
Wallet Sessions
- Logs of wallet access events (e.g., opening, refreshing, or logging in). Each wallet is assigned a persistent, anonymous UUID tied to local storage. If a wallet is deleted locally and re-imported, a new UUID is generated.
Debugging Data:
Collected to identify and resolve errors:
Error Diagnostics
- Context from the user session from the moment an application error occurs, including error messages, stack traces, application state, runtime settings, and system metadata (e.g., device type, browser configuration).
API Request Breadcrumbs
- A list of API requests from the session that have led up to an error. This information helps identify which preceding calls (e.g., fetching balances, fee estimates, and other relevant data) may have contributed to the issue.
2. Interoperability with Linked Services
To enable listing, purchase, and "Tools" flows, Horizon Wallet may transmit the technical parameters you choose—for example, asset identifiers, listing IDs, selected addresses, network information, and transaction parameters or PSBT (Partially Signed Bitcoin Transaction) data you generate or sign—as well as ancillary metadata necessary to operate or secure the flow (such as request IDs, app version, or error codes). The Wallet does not transmit your private keys.
Service Boundaries
Horizon Wallet and Horizon Market are separate services operated by Unspendable Labs (and may be operated by its affiliates or successors). Each service is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. The Wallet does not automatically receive your Market account, payment, or profile data. Cross-service data flows occur only to support features you choose (for example, pre-filled "Tools" forms, listing creation or purchase, or listing status updates), are limited to the specific parameters you select and minimal operational metadata, and never include private keys.
PSBT and Transaction Artifacts
PSBTs you create or sign are handled locally by the Wallet. If you choose to use a Linked Service flow, the Wallet may transmit PSBT data or transaction parameters as you direct. The Wallet may retain transaction artifacts—such as transaction IDs, statuses, and timestamps—for in-Wallet history, support, security, and compliance purposes, but does not retain seed phrases or private keys.
3. How We Use the Data
We use the data collected to:
- Monitor performance and debug issues.
- Track aggregated usage patterns, such as the total number of active wallets, and number and types of transactions made.
4. Data Handling
- We do not sell, share, or rent the data we collect.
- Data is processed by third-party service providers solely for analytics and debugging.
- We retain data for as long as it is needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy.
5. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the "Last Updated" date.
