Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Unspendable Labs Inc. ("Unspendable Labs," "Company," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Horizon Market (the "Platform") or any related products or services, including Horizon Explorer.

By using the Platform, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information we obtain automatically when you use the Platform, including information about your Platform activities:

  • your handle or identifier (system-generated and/or user-selected);
  • optional bio and profile photo;
  • optional curation and likes;
  • linked blockchain address(es) and their visibility settings;
  • a verification signature or artifact proving address control;
  • identifiers and public profile data (handle, username, avatar) from any linked third-party social accounts; and
  • information about your Platform activities.

We store profile bios and photos on our servers or with our service providers.

We also collect information necessary to operate the Service, such as transaction metadata, usage analytics, and technical data from your device or browser (e.g., IP address, browser type, operating system, and referral URLs).

When you create an embedded wallet, we collect your email address for authentication purposes.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and related services;
  • display your profile and linked addresses according to your settings;
  • provide support and enforce our Terms of Use;
  • protect the Platform from abuse, spam, and fraud; and
  • administer our points program.

Display of user-submitted content does not imply our endorsement.

All users automatically participate in our rewards program, and we track Platform activity to award points. Rewards tracking is essential to Platform operation and is a condition of using the Service. By using the Platform, you consent to this tracking.

We process personal information as needed to provide the Service (contract), under our legitimate interests, to comply with law, and with consent where applicable.

How We Share Information

We share information as necessary to operate the Platform, including:

  • with third-party social providers to maintain linked accounts and integrations;
  • with service providers that help us operate the Platform (hosting, storage/CDN, payments, fraud prevention, customer support, and social-login integrations); and
  • Wallet infrastructure services: When you create an embedded wallet, we share your email address with Consensys Software Inc. (MetaMask Embedded Wallets) for authentication and wallet access. Consensys's handling of your information is governed by the Consensys Privacy Notice.

These service providers are permitted to use information only to perform services for us and are contractually obligated to protect it.

We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by applicable law.

Location of Processing

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These locations may have privacy laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

This includes storage and caching of profile photos and bios by our service providers.

Embedded wallet authentication services are processed in the United States by Consensys Software Inc.

Data Retention and Security

Profile content is retained while your account remains active and deleted upon account deletion, subject to backup and log retention. OAuth tokens are kept only as needed to operate the link and are removed when you unlink or revoke access. Blockchain records remain public.

When you delete your account or remove a photo, we remove it from active systems; cached copies may persist briefly in backups or third-party caches until purged.

If you create an embedded wallet, authentication data is retained by Consensys as necessary to provide wallet access. Your wallet exists on public blockchains independent of your Horizon Market account. Blockchain records are permanent and publicly visible.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information under our control.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, object to, or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where applicable.

You can also:

  • make your profile private;
  • toggle linked addresses public or private;
  • unlink social accounts in the Service or revoke access through the provider; and
  • request account deletion as described in the Terms of Use.

Communications

We send transactional emails (e.g., account-related or security notifications). We do not send marketing emails. If that changes, any marketing email will include an opt-out mechanism.

Security Incidents

If we become aware of a data breach affecting personal information, we will comply with applicable notification laws and may provide notice through the Service, our website, or other lawful means.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will post the updated version and revise the "Last Updated" date at the top.

If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice within the Service.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a minor has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
