What is ZeldHash
ZeldHash is a metaprotocol that brings proof-of-work mining to Bitcoin transactions. Instead of mining blocks, you mine individual transactions by generating txids (transaction IDs) that start with multiple leading zeros. The more zeros, the harder the puzzle—and the more ZELD you earn. Transactions starting with 6+ leading zeros qualify for ZELD rewards. Each leading zero increases the difficulty exponentially, making rare txids significantly more valuable.

Horizon Market's mining interface lets you generate proof-of-work Bitcoin transactions without additional software or wallets.
Getting started:
- Navigate to the Mint section and select ZeldHash
- Ensure you have satoshis in your connected wallet address for transaction fees
- Click start mining to begin generating transactions
- When you successfully generate a qualifying txid with 6+ leading zeros, ZELD is minted directly to your address
Manage Your ZELD
Once you've mined ZELD, use Horizon Market's tools to send tokens to other addresses.
The same interface you use for Counterparty assets now handles ZELD transactions, keeping everything in one place.
